Steven Man (Actor as Jackson)
Steven Man's first acting bite, in an independent film "Alice's
House" was intoxicating and brought to the forefront the unrequited,
childhood passion. Man has since landed starring roles in numerous
independent feature films and popular television series. He played
the lead in "Savage Island", a horror film that garnered
eight Best Picture Awards. Man received "Best Actor in a Lead
Role Award" for the film noir, "Sweet Deadly Dreams."
The film also has won two Best Picture Awards. Man has appeared
in "Unsolved Mysteries" most successful episode "The
Boston Strangler" and Hallmark Entertainment's "Augusta,
Gone". Most recently Man has played roles in films such as
"The Looking Glass" and the dark comedy "Salvador's
Deli" which are all set for 2006 / 2007 releases. |
Atsko Hirayanagi (actress as Chizuko)
Atsko
Hirayanagi, born and raised in Japan, came to Los Angeles alone
at the age of 17 to pursue her passion for acting. She earned a
BA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and has appeared
in several independent films and commercials. Her other passions
led her to earn a black belt in Kyokushin Karate, and to her first
painting exhibit in 2005. She resides in Los Angeles and is currently
developing a screenplay for her feature project. Her dream is to
play roles in films from around the world that cast her for who
she is and not just for her ethnicity or gender. |
Dennis Harrigan Dennis
Harrigan began is acting career in the late eighties. As a musician
inspired by the Beatles, Dennis spent most of his adolescent years
playing in various local bands. Dennis continues to play in a band
"Still Crazy" playing gigs in the Los Angeles area. Dennis
had a unique introduction into his acting career which began in
1989. Dennis was asked by his "Home Defense" shooting
class instructor to act in a series of martial arts videos for the
police department. After six of the twelve videos were shot, Dennis
decided he wanted to further pursue his acting career. Dennis did
background work on about thirty films through the early nineties.
Upon witnessing Jeff Bridges' transformation into the character
of Wild Bill Hickcock on the set of "Wild Bill", Dennis
decided that he would begin his profession in the film industry.
Since this film, Dennis has had over ten years of acting training.
Dennis continues to work on studio films, independent features,
and student films. His latest works include featured roles in a
Cal State Long Beach student thesis film "Orizuru" and
a Kitehill Productions film "One Night With You". |
Junya Sakino (Writer/Director)
Junya
Sakino arrived to the United States in 2000 from Hiroshima, Japan
with the intent of making a film that would impact generations to
come. On this path, Sakino has produced and directed television
programs in Japan. Here in the United States Junya has experienced
great success working on films including "Casshern" and
"Rings" produced by Dreamworks. Junya's passion for directing
has led him to direc "The Jazz Addict", which received
an award at the Butte Film Festival. He also directed "Vanity
Mirror" which was selected as one of the six final videos in
the television channel competition. Both "Vanity Mirror"
and Junya's latest work "Orizuru" were selected for CSULB
student showcase and currently on a worldwide film festival circuit. |
Lendii Slover (producer)
Lendi
Slover was raised in a small rural town in Central California. She
moved to the Los Angeles area in 2004 upon her acceptance into the
CSULB film program. Lendi's works in include: "Don't Let Your
Love Age" (Director, 2005), "Orizuru" (Producer,
2005), Stanley (Producer 2005), "The TV Broke" (Associate
Producer, 2004). Lendi has also worked for for the History Channel
on a documentary series entitled Modern Marvels. Currently she is
working on documentary film that explores the causes of generation
gap and the fallen attempt to revive culture. |
